Quickly dropping renewable energy costs mean that the entire electric utility industry is undergoing a major shift toward cleaner energy sources.

Because electric cooperatives are non-profits owned by their members, they can navigate this energy transition in ways that empower their members, without worrying about investor profits. At the same time, many electric cooperatives face unique challenges in moving from coal to clean energy.

I'm an electric cooperative member in Colorado, and started this site to help track how electric cooperatives are navigating this energy transition.
For a more detailed look at what this is all about, check out: How are electric cooperatives navigating the energy transition from coal to cheap clean energy?
